I have a Motorola HMN9013A Lightweight Headset II with Swivel Boom Microphone. I have a Kenwood TH-D7A handheld transceiver. I'd like to interface the two. So here are the questions:
1) Is the Motorola microphone an electret condenser mic or a dynamic mic?
2) I assume if it is not an EC mic I will have to add the 10mf cap to block the DC the Kenwood supplies (see attachment).
I could figure it out, but it's more sporting to be lazy and ask the collective mind!
