RATS Tech Day Information
Bring your mobile and handheld rigs and let the RATS Technical Team check them out! Experienced amateurs (and a couple of pros) will check your mobile antenna for proper installation, and find its resonance and VSWR. We can check for power problems and make recommendations on grounding and other common mobile issues. Handhelds and mobiles that are not installed in a vehicle will be put on a service monitor and all normal operating parameters checked to be sure the rig is within specifications. You can ask questions, get troubleshooting help, and get ideas and suggestions for your mobile installation.
Tech days are held at at various locations and times. It's first-come, first-served until we run out of time!
