VA QSO Party

The Virginia QSO party is held annually in the spring and is sponsored by the Sterling Park Amateur Radio Club (SPARC).  The event offers a number of certificates and plaques for top performing stations in a wide array of categories [2022 plaque list, certificate sample].  Amateurs of all license classes and skill levels can participate, from home or in the field.

In 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 RATS sponsored the VAQP's "Single Operator VHF Only" plaque.  The RATS Board has voted to sponsor this plaque again for 2026.
