In the interest of keeping a full slate of nine board members, Reid Barden (your new secretary) has resigned from a director position that must be filled. We are now accepting nominations and candidate biographies for this seat on our board, which will serve the remainder of a term ending September 2026. If you're interested, send a short autobiographical statement introducing yourself to election@rats.net. Ballots and biographies will be distributed in early September and votes will be due by the start of the September membership meeting.
All Full members in good standing (Individual, Family, or Life) are eligible to vote in our annual election. In round one, the following positions were up for election:
Secretary (Steve Crow KG4PEQ)
Treasurer (Doc Ellis W4RYQ)
Two directors (Bill Catogni N4WLC and Nathaniel Wooley W1OLE)
In round two, the following position will be filled:
Director (Reid Barden N1VCU)
Members can submit nominations and biographies through September 3 by emailing election@rats.net.
Here is our current slate of candidates. Click a candidate's name to access their autobiographical statements. This list will be updated as candidates are confirmed and biographies are received.
Write-in votes will be accepted for all positions. Voting in round two will close at the start of our September 19 membership meeting, and the winner will take office on October 17 to serve the remainder of a 1-year term ending September 18, 2026. Secure electronic voting will take place on Election Runner. Questions about the election process may be sent to election@rats.net.

Associate members are not eligible to vote.

Look for your ballot invitation, arriving at the email address on file in our club records as of 7 PM July 28. You will need your Voter ID and Voter Key from that email.
Members with no email address on file are still eligible to vote, but they must obtain their ballot credentials by contacting election@rats.net.
